Biography

I started in the film industry at 17 as a PA in NYC, living with a bunch of friends in a loft on Crosby Street near Balthazar. Soho wasn’t then what it is now. After PA’ing for a couple of years, I made my way into the lighting department. I worked really hard, and after some years of moving lights around, I became a gaffer.

Working under some incredibly talented DPs, I learned a lot about the craft of cinematography. On the weekends, I would shoot passion projects with friends. In 2010, I was lucky enough to shoot a project that got nominated for a Vimeo Award about a Japanese motorcycle designer named Shinya Kimura. Things changed for me after that, and I started shooting full-time. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work with many talented people all over the globe. We made some nice work together; I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting my site.
